The next leg, to Fremont County Airport, is easy: all they have to do is follow Rte. 60 west.
No isea if there were MOAsin the area at the time, so let's just ignore those...






The last passenger gets aboard; almost time to go.

They pass Pueblo Reservoir west of the city just before they level off...





Somewhat heavier cloud cover reported to the west, but so far it's simple enough to maintain visual flight.

Love the smokey startup, keep 'em comming.

It's fun starting those puppies up; very realistic snorting, wheezing and smoking. Very fussy, too- without just the right throttle and mixture setting, and application of the "vibrators" at just the right moment while holding the starter switch, they refuse to turn over.

Yes, I LOVE starting the MAAM DC-3.  Actually, I think that one of the best parts of the package is the sound, its incredible!
