found this repaint before while trawling through the commercial repaints on simv, so i installed it and took it on a small flight from Liverpol To Luton, here are the shots i took.

These shots have not been edited at all, all i've done is change my graphics card settings and a tiny bit of cropping but thats all,

Comments And Criticism Welcome

Thanks for the Comments, the repaint is actually done by UKMil and its found here here.

for the clouds i use FS Skyworld and then custom set them up while in the sim, although it reduces the FPS i get, its worth it in the end,

Thanks again for the comments,

Nice but with a major problem. The PR. XIX didn't carry a whip aerial.....

And didn't it have a Griffon engine as well?

Nice shots nonetheless.....I've gotto agree with James, #2 really does look like a photo...  :o

The IX was Merlin engined...
Maybe they meant the PR. XI however that was also a Merlin engined jobbie, easily recognisable by its unusual nose shape and the fuel caps on the leading edges of the wings and its total lack of armament ;)

Big bulges which are entirely an optical illusion of the photographic textures...

Of course, then it would also need a broad chord rudder, clearview windscreen, no guns, retracting tailwheel, and a 5 blade prop (unless of course it happened to be a Mk XII or Seafire XV...) ;) ;D

i am glad you all like it ;D

the problem is a similar one i face all the time, i get hundreds of repaint requests, for specific aircraft, but there is not the models out there to support them all

so I paint the nearest match [which narrows it down when the person requests a specific model such as the AS model]

i can only do the best with the models around, but i think it is a pretty good effort

there are many more paints at UKMIL

Indeed. I have to say though that repaint would look very nice on the RealAir Mk XIV... :) ;D
