KLM 602 Leaving LAX

Couple of hours into the flight, somewhere over the N.Atlantic. Not much action going on really.

it shows your only going to have 6,900lbs of fuel once you get there! 747-400 (depending on carrier) should have a minimum of 18,000 or 24,000 lbs of fuel on board hehe

great shots, i luv the long hauls!

Why would KLM use pounds  ???
I landed with 6.600 KILOS in my tanks, which is 14600 pounds. But 747's wants to have atleast 10.000kgs when you land so I was a little low.
For such a long flight, the winds aloft makes a great impact in the fuel planning. The FMC calculated around 14.000kg fuel at EHAM when I departed LAX.  ;D

And yeah, long haulers are sweet
