The company has a small terminal building at Rawlins; another DC3 is waiting there to take passengers on to Salt Lake City at 1155. They make radio contact and find there's a gusty crosswind blowing across the runway...

The captain soon realizes he's a bit high... he calls for more flaps as he pulls the throttles back a little more. They're already 15 minutes behind schedule...got to drop her in quickly.

The high approach leads to a small bounce on touchdown; almost a little too much wind correction as the ship briefly becomes airborne again, dropping a wing into the wind.

Quick taxi to the gate, then it's off to Laramie.

Next: Rawlins to Laramie

Rest assured there is more in the pipe: finished the run to Denver, and now I've got the crew taking the trip to Salt Lake the following morning...  cloudy conditions and very high terrain...

LOL... nope, a DC3 will only bend if you make a hard 3-pointer... ;D
That "dent" is just a weird quirk of the otherwise excellent textures... only looks like that from that one angle.
