Lossiemouth Scotland.

PSS Vulcan which I haven't flown in a long time.

Another amazing British design that's a thrill to fly and has great sounds.

Hope you enjoy !!!

Always disliked the Vulcan myself. Nice shots though.

Hey Michael,

These are some excellent shots of a grand old lady. There is a group who are trying to restore an old Vulcan in the UK, and with the amount of Lotto money they have been given, this could well become a reality, and thier could be a Vulcan in the skies once more.

I also have the PSS Vulcan, and with seeing your shots, I can just imagine the sound coming from your PC, those roaring Rolls Royce Olympus engines are just music to you ears. If you like jet engines... ;)

Later,

Steve

Great shots there Ramsa,

to me this is one of the best aircraft in British Aviation history, and you portray it well.

Nemo.......

p.s with any look XH558 or G-VLCN will be making a welcome return to the air this year for its C.O.A flight,

Yep, I think they're finishing this year (Vulcan was due to fly this year and join the airshow season again next year...if I remember rightly).

Love the pics of the vulcan.....beautiful design. 8) :)

Replace given with fought bl**dy hard to get the Heritage Lottery Fund* to give them the cash as to qualify an item had to be a static exhibit. How rubbish would that have been...

Well that's the goal the VTS have set although whether or not they'll meet it is anyones guess. Was at a briefing with Dr Pleming (VTS Project Director) back in June last year and they were talking about being ready to start putting the aircraft back together, not sure what there position is now though.

Great shots by the way, a true British classic, todays RAF aircraft are just pale shadows in comparision! ;D

Yes, very nice shots, as always! Lets just hope it becomes a reality once more, soon.

Wonder whether it's first flight will be public... I'll definitely be making my way down to Bruntingthorpe if it is!
