The view is breathtaking as they pass over the mountains north of the reservoir.
Shot on the left shows the super-photo-real 2D cockpit

Passing the reservoir, right on course:

A clump of clouds seems to taunt them as they approach the airport.

Image

Undaunted, the captain begins his descent, slipping briefly into IMC, then out again, all at a fair distance from the field.

Image

The approach is looking good from the beginning; slight crowsswind... he makes a mental note to remember the field elevation is well over 5000 MSL; must consider that if a go-around is needed.

No need this time.  A little sideslipping, and she touches down nicely.

Next: Riverton to Casper

That's a lot of parts!! :o Very nice though, all of em'.

Didn't notice them till now, I haven't been much around the screenshot forums lately, so I'm gonna have to do a lot of digging, to get to all of the parts. ;D

All pretty much the same stuff...;D
I hope it's not boring anybody... maybe I should do more flying and less posting. Yeah, that's a good idea. I've been at this for a couple of weeks now, and still haven't finished half a day's flying on the Billings-Denver route!

All right; you asked for it... ;D
I have a bunch of screenies on deck; got all the way to Greeley yesterday, one stop from Denver.
But I think I'm gonna pare it down from here on; maybe just one or two shots from each leg. The story's running out of steam, anyway, especially with all the nice weather.

I am enjoying the series too, it is interesting and different!

My humble, uninvited opinion ;): If you are enjoying flying the route and sharing, and don't mind about responses, keep it up!! A fair few people enjoy this kind of post, even if they don't comment.

For me to enjoy it still more I'd like to see more technical detail and/or humour to keep it informative/fun....

Cheers

Hey, Mobayrasta, are you going to do a few sets with Real Sky? I'd love to know what it looks like....

No prob; i'll take my time with it. I can certainly add more information on the flight planning, etc.
