Frontier Airlines summer 1950-part 9
The view is breathtaking as they pass over the mountains north of the reservoir.
Shot on the left shows the super-photo-real 2D cockpit

Passing the reservoir, right on course:

A clump of clouds seems to taunt them as they approach the airport.

Undaunted, the captain begins his descent, slipping briefly into IMC, then out again, all at a fair distance from the field.

The approach is looking good from the beginning; slight crowsswind... he makes a mental note to remember the field elevation is well over 5000 MSL; must consider that if a go-around is needed.

No need this time. A little sideslipping, and she touches down nicely.

Next: Riverton to Casper

Very nice though, all of em'.
: If you are enjoying flying the route and sharing, and don't mind about responses, keep it up!! A fair few people enjoy this kind of post, even if they don't comment.
