Those afterburner effects look really over the top - it's like a sun in every engine.

In real life they'd have been a bit whiter than that  ;):

Trouble is that in FS you either have good effects for during the day, but look awful at nighttime or the other way around - there's no all day long good looking effects.....

I checked the readme and its by Dennis Waggoner - unfortunately I can't find a website for him, but theres an avsim file contained in the KEDW folder - so it must be from there?

She is an awesome looking beast thats for sure.  ;)

Great scenery too - wish I could help more.....

Precisely my favourite sort of aircraft too - in the SR-71s class, along with the F106, F101 and so on - all fantastic looking 60's planes - none of that modern plastic computer generated designs we get these days - pure man machines, designed with slide rules and made by humans, not computers.

Thats not to say modern planes are rubbish, but the old designs push my buttons on pure looks.  ;D
