You want ice?

...you got ice.

I wonder which replacement textures I've ill-advisedly stuffed into my computer are responsible for this total desintegration of my photorealistic Moscow freeware scenery...?

Image

VOZ? Golden Wings? Koorbygen? Or maybe it was the "Moscow Mesh" from Avsim.ru....?

Whatever's to blame....(ah, ME) I spot...

...the yawning toothy spectral deaths-head of....

...a full MS2004 reinstallation grinning at me from the very near future....

....oh dear oh dear....

Cheers :)

LOL, or just deal with it and wait for the release of FSX!  ;)

I have a little quirk in my textures in certain places that I can not get rid of.
Much easier to leave it alone that to fully reinstall!!  :o

Wait, I figured it out!!!!!!!
Just change the season to summer and they should probably melt!  ;)  ;D

Sometimes... but not as a general rule, I think it's a local conflict... so is that ice I hope :o

My San Francisco and Sydney airports were transformed into empty fields by Golden Wings, and now I've de-GWed my main sim and reinstalled the cities in the scenery folder I have runways lightly sketched upon an empty field, like ghosts... it's grim.

Serves me right for messing too much I guess, there's only so much the groaning hull of my sim can take...

Why? You do?  ;) :D

Bad luck Roger, but i think that the guilty was VOZ.
After carefully examination, I dont install Vista Australis. Change a lot of textures. I think that Clipper has suffered problems also.

Cheers. Good luck.

I haven't seen any problems after VOZ...

Where else are there problems?

The iceman came-th... and I've sent him packing! ;D

Reinstalled a ton of stuff last night, following advice from Dave3cu....

...being a bit of a noob I'd forgotten about the world texture folder, which was where a lot of residual GW textures were still hanging out and probably clashing with other stuff...

After removing all the mess, getting the MS airports back and making everything default again, I thought I'd celebrate by installing Lennart's textures....and starting the long and tortuous process of messing up my sim with confilicting downloads all over again!! ::) ;D

About VOZ, I don't think it was responsible for the problem, I suspect it is Koorbygen clashing with Golden Wings, as it happened after installing Koorbygen. I previously didn't have any problems after unvozzing...

Clipper's 'problem with VOZ' was actuallly a mesh problem I believe, either with a default mesh anomaly or with Andy Weir's mesh...

Cheers

Well think this way. When they plow 4 feet of snow that falls, it makes big piles that take forever to melt in cold climates ;)

That's true, actually this texture is probably pretty realistic for Moscow :)

I must say I now deeply regret eradicating every trace of it's miserable frosty hide from my system ;) :D
