Was quite some time I did a hop over the pond, and which aircraft is better suited than PMDG 744 in the wonderul colours (note the anglian spelling  ;D ) of British Airways!  :P

Loaded her up with some 80tonnes of fuel, reports of jetstreams in the 150kt+ range had been reported by the WAFC in London (those Brits better be correct on this one  ;D )
TOW was just above 300tonnes, which isn't that heavy. (MTOW is at around 363.000kgs)

Departed 09R on a CPT5J departure, initial climb to FL340 (later step climbs to FL360/380)

Just left the coast of Ireland, Cruising now at FL360 on NAT C

Yes, I admit. These long haul flights tends to be rather boring at times  ::)

Well just look at that! Those lads at the WAFC were actually correct. And check out the sucky Groundspeed to boot. Might aswell just walk to JFK....

Leaving the NAT and set course towards New York and Kennedy Intl. Just made the last step climb to FL380
Image

Approaching the viscinity of KJFK on the ENE4 arrival, RNAV approach to 22L.

Final approach for Flight 117, looking good!

...30...20...10.  Welcome to New York!

That's it for now =)

Incredible Nexus!
Love the shots, especially the last.  I wish I was as good a pilot to warrant that bird!

Nice.....
Love the way the pic's progress with the FMC.
Super aircraft for just this thing!

But Nexus...did you only arrive with 8,000 pounds of fuel?
I've tried long range planning with her but cant' get the FMC to accept the fuel load with-out the "Insufficient fuel" warning!

Thats some dedicated long hauling, I only find that possible when there is a nice systems replication because long hauling in the default 747 back in 2004... what can I say?  :)

Nexus, do you have the PSS 777? Whats it like from your perspective, and do you think you'll get the Wilco one?  :)

PSS 777 is the best triple seven available.
But it comes up short when you compare it to PMDG and LDS.

And from what I've gathered, the FT 777 will not emphazise on system replication, so I think I will pass on that one.  :)
