Vista Australis 5 - The flat south-west

Fifth set in a series of 6 exploring Vista Australis... and my first of 2006.

The south-west of the country turned out to be pretty dull, mainly endless flat plains.... but I still managed to get some reasonable pics....

Perth was pretty nice... it had great water but somehow I've managed not to show it here.... ::)

The hilly bushland areas also have something to offer...

...and some parts of the coast are quite picturesque, with their white sand deposits...

This Eurocopter Tiger came from Hovercontrol, flew very nicely, Australian textures from Aussim.

Image

This Australian Customs Service Dash-8 Q200 came from Avsim, may also be here at the V... same goes for the Eurocopter, perhaps...

Roarrrr!

This shot could be anywhere, I know, but I just liked it

Beautiful sig, Fitter, can't wait tor try that plane out!

Vista Australis doesn't have any hit on frames, and its freeware! The planes are also freeware, the only thing payware in these shots is FSAtmosphere, though I usually have Flight Environment running...

...install VOZ and it should basically look like in my pics, without any hit on frames I think.

One thing I forgot to mention and which pleased me less about VOZ, was that when I tried to visit some lakes in the South West they simply weren't there... just uniform flat land.

It's not desert, so I don't imagine they are dried up, so where are they? I think it's a problem with the landclass, which is great around areas of interest, but maybe got less attention in flat areas of wilderness...
