Avro York GW and FSA part 1

Well, here are my latest pics....they are a recreation of a flight my grandad made in an Avro York in the early fifties....from London to Ismalia in Egypt...not an exact recreation but just for fun
The plane is the Avro 685 York from SimV Vintage 2002. It is the only existing model as far as I know....
Leaving London, St James' Park below....probably.

The York had many parts in common with the Lancaster bomber, including the wings and engines, I believe....208 were made, according to my sources and were pretty common in the 1950s skies....
Battersea Power Station lurks below...

My grandad has had quite an interesting life in aviation and it was my plan to recreate it, but none of the early planes he worked on seem to be available....I posted in Aircraft Wanted but it really looks like they don't exist for FS....
The Thames wends its windey way....

I'd especially like a link to a freeware Wellington bomber... he crashlanded in them twice....
Thames Estuary...

He was in Egypt during the war, servicing Spits, Hurricanes and Wellingtons (bombers, not footwear to be filled with custard).
The Garden Of England, tm.

He flew out to Egypt in the early 50s after helping out in the Berlin Airlift.... and worked on the early jets, as well as running an open air cinema...
Leaving those white cliffs behind....

Later he spent time in Pakistan before returning home to become a technical author working on various Rolls Royce engines... an interesting career...
Heading out over France....

I remembered how Golden Wings clouds looked super-soft and the sky had a glowing ambience about it.... so I created a new GW texture folder and stuck FSAtmosphere into it to see what would happen....these 'interestingly' coloured gunmetal early morning skies were the result...
I'm planning 3 sets... the second will be over Europe, and the third will be touching down in Egypt somewhere (Ismalia doesn't seem to exist in FS9, maybe renamed? Must search)...
Thanks for looking in, comments welcome!!!
