Having the Ramsa Treatment.

It came to pass that I decided to take up the FSGS challenge. I contacted Michael a few days ago and with an initial consultation of 30 mins on Monday night we arranged to tweak and fiddle with my machine last night. After 3 hours of driver bashing, registry editing, sim fiddling and general machine tidying up here's a few of the results.

Framerates in the upper 20s to mid 30's on average over all weather and traffic settings.

Michaels service is well worth the money for anyone and after all the fiddling the instant change to the look of the sim is amazing.

Thanks Michael.

Congrats Eno!

Now let's always see your shots in full view as I never really click on those thumbnail thingies you put up.  ;D

If I could get more than 5 shots in a thread ....... and keep the quality, whilst keeping the size around 50k after compression  then I would use full size shots all the time.
I find that I can't get the compression without loosing the quality. Therefore the thumbnails allow me to show more of the good shots.  ;D ;D

Try GIMP. Works wonders.

Just goes to show the value of experience and expertise. A few years reading up books and tweaking your machine and now your pulling in $50 for sharing that knowledge.

Now, was the service done by him at your house or was it all over the phone?

It was all done over MSN via voice.

Looking good Eno, glad you dipped your feet into the water that is FS-GS.

As many know I am biased  ;) but I have never met anyone that can tailor an individuals machine to allow maximum performance, plus help configure their sim and all without laying a single finger on it.

Michael is the master at this and I really do know!

There, blown my smoke........ ;D

Eno,

Curious as to what kind of system you are running, processor, gfx card etc. ??

I've been mulling over this service for quite some time but don't know if it's worth it with my meager system.

I'm running a higher end system ........  P4 3Ghz, X800XL 256Mb PCI-E Gfx  and 1Gb of RAM. However having used Ramsa's service I can safely say it would benefit anyone no matter what their specs.

That second one reminds me of Battlefield 2.  That lighting looks JUST like Operation Clean Sweep.

Dave has had Ramsa's services on his PIV 1,4Ghz and his FS shots looked better than those taken from an "unconfigured" high-end machine.
