After several test flights in order to test and learn systems etc it was time for a longer flight in the PMDG 747. Wanted a flight of about 4-5 hours, needless to say the flight from Hong Kong to Brisbane, Australia was closer to nine.

No time compression, just a long haul flight on a friday night/saturday morning...  ;D 3800nm, it is longer than it seems I assure you. The stretch over Australia alone takes close to 2.5 hrs....  :o

The STAR.... GLENN1 transition AMB (Amberley) to runway 01.

The landing. The lights or flaps are not shown as I went replayed back 1000 seconds to the landing, after the aircraft was already shut down.

Taxiing to Gate 26.

It wasnt really about the screens, I just quickly tried to get something to share.  :)

I have never been a big fan of LONG haul, but i have done the occasional 6 hour long flight.  I prefer flying many commuter flights from my local airport to London, Manchester etc

Long Haul? what long haul.  I can never sit at my comp long enough.  I really only fly for a bit doing something somewhere, ocassionally small hops.  Recently, All I've been doing is flying the gee bee around the cleveland race course.  In fact, I think I beat jimmy doolittles time ;)
