Michigan VFR Part 1

Postby Gunny04 » Thu Jun 30, 2005 7:54 am

I havent been actively flying for a month or so but I am doing VFR over my home state now in the North American T-6 Texan so here is the first leg of the trip about 15-20 miles

Just cranking the bass and listening to her engine roar to life (yea I restarted shut down and started 10 times before taking off from KMKG)

The lake behind the tail of the plane is Mona Lake (one runway does go into it) and many of my planes lay there and the other lake (farther up off the nose) is muskegon lake and the big one, Lake Michigan

The small lake on the wingtip is duck lake (very small) the theres Lake michigan again and the other smaller lake is Whitelake, where I used to go out fishing on a boat

The X is an abandoned airfield for sale outside of Montague about a mile (on the other side of whitelake) from whitehall

My complete stop at the oceana County airport (co4) I always seem to run out of room.... ;D
