Well I wasn't hanging around in Greenland as the weather was dire, so after a quick refuel and finding the loo at BGGK it was time to depart, engine started at 18.00.25...

High over the ice in Greenland, would have been more sensible to call it Iceland methinks! I just hope I don't end up with some of the P-38s down there....

A quick turn-around at BGGH after landing at 18.06.24, another 2 hours 5mins and 59secs on the logbook. Then disaster struck and my starter failed so the mechanics worked on my beloved Spit through the night whilst I went and hijacked the nearest bar ;D
Image
The following morning at 06.10.13 I was off, my last view of Greenland before another v.long "wet" leg (I hate being out of sight of land)...
Image
With 2% fuel left I kissed Canada at 09.20.24 after another 3 hours 14mins and 11secs, then I went and lay face down on the beach for a bit wondering if my butt will ever recover....
