One of my Favorite Non-Lyons plane

Bill Lyons is the developer whose work I like the best.  But outside of any of his work, my favorite plane is this one:

The effect below, I added...standard fare for all my Ski Craft...

Now the models may look a bit plain, but there are many little details, such as The Narco Avionics NAV 122D.  It's a VOR/LOC/Glideslope and receiver all in one!  Another think is the takeoff Flight Dynamics: you wait until you're going about oh...40 MPH or so, then drop the flaps.  They're not motorized so they move as fast as you can pull the handle. By dropping them quickly, the plane literally jumps into the air. (fun!)

Also, some visual extras include a cable that goes up and down to the side of you as you raise/lower the water rudders. The wheel-ski has skiis that can go up and down as well!

Nice jordonj...very nice :)

As I love amphibious floats and wheel/skis I may have to take a look at this one.

Nothing better than manual flaps to get you in and out of a tight strip ;)
