on friday, flight one released the first part of their new scenery enhancement series "ultimate terrain". the first part released covers canada and alaska. usa and europe are to follow. i've been waiting so long for this addon, since i knew it would be incredible. last night i finally got it, so here are a few screenies from my first flight

the addon basically enhances everything possible in the coverage region (which obviously is huge). it comes with accurate roads (usa roads users will get discount on the usa package), accurate landclass, waterbodies etc.
and the incredible 3d road lights and car headlights. all features can be switched on and off seperately through the ultimate terrain menue and some features are customizable (ie 3d lights).

lol, no way man . i don't buy that much payware really but i think this addon is totally worth the money (it's only $29.99 anyway, which is amazing value for such a big addon).

I got UT also yesterday and I agree, it's worth every penny.
It also includes rivers/steams and rail roads
The pics (although great) really don't do UT justice.

Sure, it's not 100% perfect and it has a few issues but, these are being addressed and it shouldn't deter anyone from getting it.
I can't wait for UT for the US mainland

FSGlobal sure is great. it can be used in addtion to ultimate terrain, think they are pretty much compatible. on it's own, FSGlobal is still just a mesh though. ultimate terrain is a complete makeover  ;)
