Alaskan Pig Adventure

Postby Fly2e » Fri Nov 05, 2004 10:04 am

Finally I break through the snows and into a beautiful colored sky!!

She is a beauty this old girl!

After the 45 minute flight, it is time to set this pig down. Let's hope the weather has let up a bit!

Wonderful, the base is in sight and all looks clear for a perfect landing!

As we are about to touch down, my stomach grumbles at the thought of Martha's famous moose with all the fixins!!
Image

I bring her around to the hanger and complete my shut down procedures. I feel a bit guilty leaving her out here in the cold as the snows begin to fall. As I walk across the lot I look back at my old hunk of metal and say to myself, "tomorrow is another day and another adventure for me and my old girl!

Now where is Martha and that Moose!!!

Hope you liked!!!
Dave

Moose is fine if you mix it 50/50 with cow burger. I've only killed one moose that had good steaks.

Teriffic plane! Great shots too. :)

And for all yez that aren't lucky enough to live in Canada; moose is fantastic when prepared right; even better than bison.
Although I do like caribou better. ;D
