Provost in the UK

Postby Gixer » Mon Nov 01, 2004 1:52 pm

Well I have VFR Terrain for the UK so installed it whilst waiting for my VFR scenery to turn up.  Fortunately you get a demo included on the Terrain disk for the VFR scenery  ;D So I got in my Provost and headed off into the Lake District.  I took 15 pics but just chose what I thought were the best few.

Hope you like em  ;D

Justflights VFR photographic scenery for the UK along with VFR Terrain for  the UK.

Go here : http://www.visualflight.co.uk

Its great.  With the mixture of VFR Terrain and the photographic VFR scenery the UK is now an amazing place to fly.  I even managed to find Sutton Bank where Yorshire gliding club is based.  And the Terrain is so real its even got it exactly like I remember it form when I was up there in the summer!

I have all but 1 vfr photo scenery but hopefully that will arrive tomorrow.

That 4th shot is very very nice, the others are great aswell though.

Once VFR does terrain for Scotland I'll buy it all.

No thats the Tweet I think.  The plane is a Freeware Huntington BAC, Jet Provost made by Rick Piper.

It is available for download at the simouthouse.  Make sure you get his latest version!
