Well I have not been posting many screen shots lately.  I have been rather busy.  So, until I get back into the swing of things, here's a shot to kinda break my recent silence.   ;D

Do you ever get to talk with the pilots when they are doing a go around check or can't you talk with them on the job?

Yeah we can talk to the pilots while they are setting up for the flight or when they are down doing their pre-flight walk-around.

The other night, one of the guys at work brought his laptop and had FS2002.  So my friend decided to race a flight from San Diego.  He set up the flight on the laptop and using the flight information we have on computers in the Operations department he could tell the status of the real flight.  So he tried to time it so that he would be in the air by the same time that flight left San Diego and wanted to see if he could land at the same time.  The flight landed 1.5 minutes before my friend landed on the sim.  Pretty close.

This was at the end of the night and everything was winding down.  That flight from SAN was our last terminating flight for the night so we had time to mess around like that.  We had to wait for the flight to land before we could get to work anyway.  When the plane was on the ground we told the pilots we were racing them.  They asked who won, and of course we said they did.  haha.  But yeah we do talk to the pilots.
