Beer Run Part Deux

Such wonderful scenery brings a smile to our face. Washington, land of gorgeous scenery, and perfect for the Grumman

Can you tell by the look in Gooney's eyes that he is anticipating a nice cold beer? "Say CHEEESE" or on our case "BEEEEEEER!!!"

Image

A perfect day for a low level VFR flight with Mt. Ranier in the distance

Image

Bill began his descent, Emma Field in view, with anxious partiers waiting to wet their whistle, and we are only happy to oblige. I was asking Bill if he thought Ozzy had put a jet engine on his Moth, as we heard over the radio that he had beat us there.

Image

If you look closely, you can see Ozzy waiving his empty beer mug as he chats with Fritz in his hangar. Almost touching down.

Image

We touched down, taxied to parking, and began unloading the beer and wine to the joy of many friends. Of course, Ozzy helped himself to one before we could even unload it. The ladies as you can see are prepping the tables readying the clubhouse for friends and family, and Fritz's grill awaiting the steaks and ribs!! Time to get busy!

I hope you enjoyed the little story, and sorry Ozzy, but you were the first to reply to the other thread, so I picked on you.   ;D  ;)

Cheers Mates!

And as always feedback always appreciated
