Another Goonie Adventure...

Postby codered » Sun Feb 15, 2004 2:01 am

Here are some pics of my trip from Tacoma Narrows, to Astoria Mun., then on to Newport.  What better aircraft to take an adventure in than the Carenado Beech Bonanza.

Taxing out from my brown T-hanger.

Image

South departure approved. Cleared for takeoff.

Image

Climbing to altitude.  Clouds ahead and we are VFR so we are going to go VFR on top.

Image

Turning out towards Astoria, getting ready to make my decent through the opening in the clouds.

Image

No problem, we can sneak in under these clouds.

Image

Left out of Astoria and started heading south along the coast to Newport.

Image

Clouds lifted and what a beautiful sunset.

Image

Sun is going down and I didn't bring my flash.  Landed just after sunset. ;D

The scenery is free.  Tacoma Narrows found at Avsim.  I forget the authors name, but he did a terrific job at rendering the field.

One of the best paywares I have ever purchased.  I was glad to pay the money for it and give credit where it is due. ;D
