The Legendary F-104

Postby SabreHawk » Sat Jan 17, 2004 10:10 am

Well, I havent done a thread for a while so I thought I was due. This is Captain Sim's F-104 Starfighter.
She's one heck of a handful to fly, and even more to land. It's so loaded with features that screenshots cant come close to doing it justice, but I'll try.
It's expensive at $35 but worth every dollar, and is a whole sim in itself practicly, and plus you get 12 liveries, in both single & two seat versions, and a combination texture & config. utility to make adding liveries, & configuring the jet a snap.
So here she is............the "Manned Missle"

She'll flat spank you so good, for being bad........ :P
Better be strapped in tight.............. 8)
And BTW, Captain Sim's stuff is made by former fighter pilots. So yes,..............it is as real as it gets! ;)
More to come, but it's so hard to stop & take pics cause your so enthralled(& busy handling her) you just want to keep yer hands on her, and keep her moving the way you want. :P

Very nice!! I'm waiting for Capt. Sim's 707 to come out. Should be a fine add-on.

Oh yeah, and that it was.  Heh, I can hear ol Chuck Yeager askin Riddley if he's got any Beemans every time I fire it up, and I think of that sequence in the film where Chuck takes it up and loses it at 115,000ft or so and ends up punchin out :o
Well here's a few more, and I'll try next time up to get one of the afterburner at full............dang I love this thing! :P
