Abacus 787 dreamliner

Anyway, I have to agree with Jake here - if you didn't tell me it was a Dreamliner in the title, I would have asked why the wings on that 767 were bent up like that.

What do you mean you hope they don't go ahead with it?  It's in final production.  It's gonna be painted a week from today.  Dream?   No, it's reality, and it's a giant leap for aviation

Not an Abacus lover I'm afraid.  The 787 package was the final nail in the coffin, having got the Airbus collection some months earlier.  Why do they seem to consistently turn out inferior products (IMHO) that require patches almost immediately to get them to work.

Anyway, would someone please like to suggest a freeware version of the 787 that meets their approval?

Many will be buzzing around, in many airlines....... and theres nothing you can do about it (insert evil laugh here) At least it looks like a plane, rather than a 747 that let its self go over the holidays....

I am a big fan of the boeing 787 and I believe its the best aircraft boeing has produced in quite a while.
It looks stunning and has nice clean lines just what an aircraft should have! You only have to look at the number of sales. Its the future and its here now. Enjoy why you can!

Have to agree with monkey A380 is a flying pig went to see it come into brisbane suprising it doesnt look as bad in real life but still not a patch on the look of a 747.

The wings aren't that bent in the wind tunnel test. And the nose looks unique - the one in your shot looks like a 767/A330.

That's no 767/A330.  Look at the winglets.  That's a 787 model.

I have no problem with how the A380 looks.  If you want a plane that will transport very large numbers of passengers, you have a few solutions, create a very wide body, a very long body, or a very tall body.  I think Airbus chose the best solution for a number of reasons.

That's gonna be the dreamliner's profile when airborne, and abacus seem to have got the wingflex about right in flight. What they didnt do was make it so that the wingflex is less accentuated whaen you're sitting stationary on the tarmac.

He wasn't saying the entire model looked 767/A330-ish... He was saying that the nose of Abacus' model looks 767/A330-ish... and I agree with him, it looks too rounded.
