2. Sorry for putting this in your thread eno but I really have to say this.  

FS-GS is a company NOT related to this site in any kind, right? the thing that seems a bit strange to me is that when someone makes the slightest not completely positive remark about FS-GS (like Ashar; he was in fact making a joke!!), Michael/ramsa329 comes along and shouts this person down with an aggressive tone I can not understand. That should really not be. If I remember correctly, a member with over 10.000 posts was banned because of an argument over this issue. If this is tolerated, this site doesn't remain independent any more

First off, the member who you say was banned (Heretic) was banned because Pete asked Bjorn a few times to stop recommending Avsim for downloads. Basically sending people to another site when the files were here. Bjorn came back and said to Pete that it is a free world and he can do what he wants. Nothing wrong with that at all as this is a business and as Pete has said, "will protect it with force when necessary!". Ironically it was the same week that Ramsa & Bjorn had some words. Bjorn haas been asked many times to come on back yet he does not want to. A member would not be banned for a single argument about something, that is ridiculous unless it was a newbie here that was obviously causing trouble and even then there are measures taken to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I hope that clears that up Ijineda.

And even though FS-GS is not related to this site, Ramsa's screenshots bring hundreds of people to this site. FS-GS posts shots exclusively at Simviation, not any other site on the web. Many of the shots that are posted were taken for companies that paid him to do the shots. On their web sites it directs people to Simviation to look at the products and shots. Nothing wrong with that, this is a business and it relies on people coming here! It is a win win situation!

What it comes down to is this. Michael takes his business & screenshots very seriously, as do I also. I am not defending anybody here because I need want to remain neutral. All Michael is saying is that people have allot to say about FS-GS and never do they ask him what it is all about. They have all the answers and not any solid info about the service.

As with any business and its reputation, the owner of that business has every right to protect its reputation and what it is about, just the same reason that Bjorn was banned by Pete from Simviation for telling people to go to another site.

My affiliation with FS-GS is part business, part relationship. I get to work with somebody who is highly respected in the Flight Sim community and I get to share my screenshots with many of the payware companies we do work for. I do not get paid. So even though you may think I am being biased, I do my best to protect the reputations of everybody involved.

I love it when people post up like this! Pay hummage to FREEWARE in the PAYWARE section. This scenery is so much better then most payware scenery because it is both beautiful and it is animated. Most payware looks aight, but it isn't animated to add more fun to it.

Special shout out to the ISD team for this and all of their Italy Scenery. They do awesome work and much love is shown to them for saving me a few BUCKS!
