Jean, I came very close to building a "Turbulent" homebuilt aircraft in the 1970's. Its a great little flyer and was very popular. There was a club in England that was called the "Tiger Club" and they flew and rented Turbulents. It was nice to see your pictures.

There was a wealthy man years ago in USA who had his Grumman Albatross Amphibian converted into a beautiful RV-FlyingHome . He flew it all over the world. They just landed, did whatever they wanted to and camped in the plush cabin. It eventually showed up for sale in "The Robb Report" magazine and then I lost track of it. It would be ideal for you and your travel-mates.
