Harold,

Now you're badgering me.

What is this about. Why have you chosen me to be your little experiment?

No I was not a studio musician. I made records and have been in bands since I was very young. I also owned my own studio in L.A. I composed, played and produced my own music.

And you completely misunderstood the meaning of "leaving it at the door" and I mean completely in fact so completely that it is unreal.

I never said it was easy to criticize. I said I don't like to do it.

and your last post shows why.

If you would have read what I wrote (instead of focusing on graininess which isn't even there.......... Dave can't see it and he's your hero).

The post about the Tiger Moth is dealing with a place called Santa Barbara in California and the flight over that area shows the high level of accuracy in FSX. Plus the enclosed cockpit of the D***N plane.

Look at the coastal shot off the tailplane. LOOK AT IT. Do you have any idea of perspective or position or lighting. LOOK AT IT. Study it learn from it.

And any opinion you have about its story line is just sniping at me.

The location of your shots is completely and blandly generic. It could be anywhere or nowhere.

But that is just part of what's wrong.

The QUESTION IS ONE OF PURPOSE was it the plane, the scenery, the weather, the lighting. WHAT ???????

You haven't answered one thing I said. You just keep picking out what you want (we're the same, the story is the same) and reject all the rest of the criticisms. ( By the way that's a hint on how to take better screenshots)

Go ask Dave or Andy to help you if you love them so much. THEY ARE THE BEST NOT ME. They are nice and mild and pleasant and more talented. Forget that Dave or others did my service.......... everyone else here ignores that point why shouldn't you.

I'm sure they would be glad to talk to you and it won't cost you a cent.

Get a book on photography and study lighting than apply it to digital art.

You want my best advice well here it is. Read what I said in my criticism and reverse every single thing you did wrong, don't question anything I said, don't whine, don't compare what you did to my shots.

Just do it !!!!!!

At first I thought you could take the criticism but now I see you starting to be passive-agressive.

I don't have any more time for this and it ends here.

P.S. I don't think you really want my wife to be involved in this. She makes me look like the calmest nicest person on the face of the earth.

I would be asked to leave Simviation if I were to repeat what she said about you seeing graininess and even though I didn't think she could come up with more it got worse when she saw the last post and the comment about the story-lines. LOL

By the way she's the one with the skirt in the poster.

Hi Michael,

I know you don't want to put anymore effort in this post but I know you're reading this so ...

First ... if I offended you I apologize. I did not know you would react so strong on my comments.

But please don't forget: I still really like your shots!

I think (or at least hope) that I can take criticizm and I don't feel over-agressive towards you or that I've over-critisized you. If you feel that I did or that I'm just sniping you or 'picked you for some experiment, then I apologize to you again and to your wife. That was not my intention. I just would like to know what you're thinking and have an open discussion about this all. I did not realize I used harsh words or insults.

Dave and Andy are not my friends nor do I love them ;D
I just like their shots just as I like yours. Period. You just seems to have so much more knowledge than these two combined (sorry guys) that I thought I would start a discussion (not experiment) with you. Not to let you say things that you did not want to say. And I'm definately not after FREE advice. I can ask anybody for that. I want a profesisonal discussion. I'm interested in your opinion and if I misunderstood your comments on my shots I'm sorry. Although I do think that I'm pretty fluent in English I am not a native speaker and can misinterpert your words ... obviously I did :-[

I hope you're still interested in discussing this with me either here on SimV or offline via MSN as I think there's a lot more to learn and don't get me wrong, but I'm really fascinated by you ...

Again, it was not my intention to insult you or your wife.

Even a master can learn from a novice if the master doesnt take any honest comment for an agression to his person.

"An amateur practices to get it right

A professional practices to never do it wrong."

(NFL television commercial).

"I am a fast learner but a slow loser"

( Jefferson Airplane)

How does one define honesty.

Is it the measure of what we know? Is it what we are trying to know?

Or is it like a fact and simply where investigation ends?
