Great shot, Anthin! We do prefer that they're displayed in the Screenshot Showcase instead of the FSX forum though 8-) I moved this one for you ;)

On a more serious side.

If that's the standard San Francisco in Orbx's North California, I may have to sell my wife or a dog.

It's a tough decision: neither of them can cook.

Thanks, Anthin.

WOWZERS. Anthin!... :o ...!

After spending/wasting the past 15+ years of my life, daily exploring the whole of California, from Oregon to San Diago, and the Pacific Coast to Nevada and beyond, with my Flight Unlimited II, ProPilot '99, Fly!, and FS '98 to FSX with all the versions in between, 'Frisco Bay has never looked so crisp, sharp, and highly detailed as your screen shot!
I must look more deeply into this OrbX scenery stuff, and hope that the scenery is Freeware?

A wonderful Shot, Anthin!.... :D ..!

We must meet up sometime in "Multiplayer", and explore the CAL scenery together....
...at certain times of the year, its almost as hot in SOCAL, as it is in Ozzie-land; (114*F/45*C!)..... ...!

I must admit that I get so much fun "exploring" every day (As the Bishop said to the Actress), that I forget to take shots of interesting areas that I visit during my daily travels...(Photo's supplied in a plain brown envelope!).

I must get my camera out more often..... for screen shots!.... ;) ...!

Paul.....aka; Captain Cook II/Bishop..... ...!

P.S...it looks like "SOCAL scenery" will be appearing in 2015....>>> http://forum.avsim.net/topic/449921-sou ... -possible/

...the problem I may have, is that in purchasing OrbX NORCAL, it only goes as far south as Monterrey Bay, and all of my daily travels also cover SOCAL as well, so there may be a strange/dramatic scenery change when travelling south!

I wonder how pay-ware "OrbX Norcal" compares with my mix of pay-ware "OrbX FTX Global" and "Ultimate Terrain FSX (USA)"?

Thank you guys for the warm comments.
The full fat Nor Cal region is more detailed than
Global+Vector+Pilots 2010 Mesh. The Global is still
excellent and will get better when they release NA
Landclass at the end of the or early next. I believe
SoCal will be released next year(Full Fat). The city
shown above is San Francisco by Aerosoft(Payware).

I run my autogen one notch back from max.

Fozzer.

When North America Landclass comes out it will be a lot better than UTX.
It will be even better with above mentioned mesh and Vector.

It all costs money unfortunately. It would in the short term be cheaper
to buy the full fat regions.

Let me know if you want me to post any particular scenery

Regards Anthin.

p.s I have never flown in multi player and would not have the foggiest
idea on how to.

Regards Anthin.
