Love the slightly banked approach shot Dave ... that one is excellent!
And which grass textures are those ... the look rather nice :o

Glad you noticed that Harold!
Just found that last night...PHOTREAL GRASS!
Seems to blend nicely with everything and from the air looks a little "grainy" but I think I like it!
Here is the info as I will not mention the site!

I saw that and thought it was only for FSX.
Now that you posted that I see the last line of the read me says "FS2004 Compatible".
Will have to check it out!
Thanks!

No problem guys...I too thought that Photograss looked interesting...Unfortunately, it was a little too pronounced for my taste...So I decided to go with the more subtle PicNic 8-) ;)

Great in daylight too Dave - and I hope to see some PicNic shots soon from someone - I've been using the photreal grass for a week or two and I like it... but it is a tad pronounced.... PicNic might be just the TicKet...

Yes

the best tree and grass is the freeware PicNic variation 3 @ 1024 resolution and the best trees are TreeX V 2.1 (FSX sp1 and sp2) variation HiFi or Quality @ variation 2 (darker) and larches 1 (USA) larches 2 or 3 (higher elevation or europe)
