WA41

Postby patchz » Mon Nov 08, 2010 2:05 am

I found a challenging little bugsmasher field SE of Olympia, WA41, Bear Canyon West Field. But be sure you don't run off the end of the runway as there are pretty good drop offs.

The roofs of those houses on the right are below the runway.

I'm pretty sure running off here would ruin your day.

Thanks for looking.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Is this part of the Ozx collection?  Been out a couple of times and haven't found any yet - need to brush up on navigation, got lost in fifteen minutes on the Angoon trip  :).

I spent a couple of hours downloading those freeware airports Dave. Some of them are very 'interesting'. Thanks for the heads up. :)
