Super Cub Landing at 16,018ft...

Postby Ravang » Thu Jul 09, 2009 9:27 pm

Decided to go and land my Aerosoft Super Cub (converted to FSX) on Mt. Blackburn...
(I know about the jaggies, but I don't have any AA support on my laptop.)

Down and safe at 16,018ft MSL... 8-)

This is the highest I've landed my Cub yet...

The highest I've heard of a Super Cub being landed is a mind blowing 18,000ft! :o

I kinda like the prop blur, and I'm not sure if the update would work in FSX. I've had to overhaul the panel and a few textures to get it to work in FSX, but its been the best $9 I ever spent... ;D

(My simple panel. I didn't replace all of the gauges on purpose.)

The VC mode, with the top of the engine cowl showing, is absolutely how it looks in real life.

I figured that out when during my first flight with the Super Cub. But now, I've figured out where the top of the cowl should be to maintain level flight.
