Weekend of strange weather...

Postby Barbr » Sat May 09, 2009 12:38 am

Geez. Just had a 7-hour bumpy one from EGLL-KBOS and the entire time the FSpassengers were screaming. Sigh.

Here are some others from the last few days at different places....

This was VHHX-PHNL... about 500 miles west of Hawaii...

The joys of REX... cruising over the French Alps...

Love the fact that the MD-11 can guide itself down... cuz I probably would have crashed  ;D

:o  I can never get my Howard to look like that, very photoreal!  Outstanding!  I'm going to have to fire her up and see what I can get out of her  ;D  The autopilot is easy in the Howard.  Set your dial for the direction, and punch in your altitude.  Turn on the AP master switch and hit HDG and ALT.

LOL Barbr, I love how you can fly one of the most complex payware birds of FSX (PMDG MD-11) so well, and then you say you can't figure out the AP in a freeware bird :D

That's cool. Cooooooool shots.

More planes should come with a 1,200-page manual

A 1,200-page manual? O_O And I get sick of boredom trying to read my LDS 767's 190 page manual.. :o

PS: The PMDG MD-11 is on top of my to-buy list too.. your shots make me want it more and more..

Great to imagine how you flew a 7 hour long-haul with your FS passengers screaming all the way  ;D

Very nice pics, love the second, so crisp and colourful!
