FA-18 Refueling

Postby TRflyman01 » Wed Apr 22, 2009 11:30 am

The title didn't sound too interesting but I hope you think the pics are. I had a lot of fun setting this up.

Man this was hard to do. I couldn't record the KC10 because it crashed recorder so I had to record the FA-18's and fly the KC10. I guess it was the fuel extension that caused it to crash.
Thanks for looking,

Really impressive. Pardon my ignorance, but how did you get the three planes flying together?

Thanks for the comments all!!

I used FSrecorder to record the F-18s flying together then played them as traffic while flying the KC10. I flew ahead of them and got to the same altitude then used slew to stop the KC10 and let them fly to me. Took me awhile to get them all lined up but was a lot of fun.

Nice shots mate, but I don't see any re-fuelling probe from the Hornet? :D

Maybe they're just checking for leaks. :P

I had to record the FA-18's and fly the KC10.

Now there's a fresh idea on refueling! Sort of a variation of Mohammad and the Mountain ;D

Cool shot TR! Love those clouds ;)
