The water looks great in the first one, and you were right about those VOZ textures, really brings the Islands alive. 8-)

Love the touchdown shot!

Did you ever see the movie about the Aloha plane that lost a giant chunk of it's upper fuselage :o? Actually, since you lived there, you may have even seen it! :D

Great set! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

My last unit used to fly Aloha whenever we went to the "big island" for training...then they went bankrupt while we were there and we were stranded, I was furious lol.  We had to wait an extra day while they chartered a flight with Hawaiian Airlines back to Oahu.

Your shots look terrific, love the coloring!

It says alot about the structural integrity of a 737 and maybe that's why it's been in use for so long. Was quite amazing to sustain that much damage and continue on to land safely.

Excellent shots. Especially #1. ;)

Thanks for the comments, guys.

I was not around yet when that famous Aloha Airlines incident occured, but I still know a lot about it.

BigTruck, I'm sure you miss Hawaii just as much as I do.  ;) I lived there for a period of around four years, about eight years ago. Near what was formerly NAS Barbers Point.

It was nice to only have to walk less than five minutes to hit the beach!  :D
