Really? I can kinda see where your coming from, close up wise - it was a bitch to do and as usual i concentrated far too much on the photos of the real thing rather than thinking more on how it would come out in the simulator - i thought i had it nailed, its a strange finish on these CP Air birds, im guessing highly polished....but hey, from a distance is what counts!!

:oWow that first one is something! 8-) All are quite nice, but man that first has some beautiful detail in it. The hard work and effort really shows. ;)

Cheers! Heres the real thing for some comparison. The CLS repaint kit has no provison for the extra 'door' above the cockpit - im guessing its a pilot escape thing, and i forgot about it ! Anyhoo, see what you think to this and my repaint:-

Now that's top notch! ;) One question though, and I had this similar problem and couldn't figure it out, where the elevators meet the tail is a patch of white, what causes that?

Hmmm not sure what you mean? On the 747 i think its the mechanism for moving the tail/elevators, but i might be wrong, have you got a picture of this 'white bit'?

Hmm i dont really know what that is....is it on the real thing? On the 747 if its not the mechanism for moving the tail/elevator it could just be the way the lights catching it and the shine thats added to the paint?
