I became aware of the jolly rogers as a kid through an excellent tamiya model kit - which i actually never got hold of, but although now no longer produced (i think) fetches good money on ebay and the like for unassembled boxed versions.......was quite a big kit as well - ive had some of there huge F1 cars which take weeks to build, every brake pipe, nut bolt and goodness knows what - so i imagine this to be immense!

Thanks for the comments though guys :D

The hornet! I had a Tamiya Holiday Buggy, in fact two of them - wish id kept those! In the cupboard i have a ford escort wrc by tamiya, with 4x4 but its a little batterd after crashing at high speed into a kerb ::)

A plethora of  big scale F1 cars, the villenuve 1979 312t, mansells 641 from 1990, niki laudas 312 from 77, and several smaller ones from varyng years. Ever since i discoverd Tamyia in the early 1980's, ive never come across anyone who makes such good model kits. Period.
