Postby todayshorse » Fri Oct 31, 2008 7:09 pm

Evening fellow Tomcat fans! Well here it is, it had to happen. One of my favorite aircraft of all time!

Although ive never been that happy with most of the tomcats availale for FS9, ive put together a little ditty which i agonised over a little - do i use thumbnails and make it one post? Or three posts? Thumbnails didnt go down so well last time i used them, so ive gone for a three parter....i hope you enjoy :D

The third one looks like one hell of a take off! :o ;D Stunning background with the texture and shadows!
Which Tomcat is this? :-?

Indeed ;D Like the best of the best, the English Electric Lightning, i went for a instant vertical climb the minute she lifted off.....wether the real thing can do this (the lightning can!) i dont know but she goes like hell!

This is the IRIS tomcat, the scenery is one i use a lot purely because it gives great results no matter what, flightzone portland.

Still not hugely impressed with this Tomcat. Ive had it for a while and i think its about time i tried to paint it, as even with this one, it looks a little 'flat'. everything looks good on it, but its lacking somthing. Afterburners and auto wing sweep (like the real thing) are first class however - pull up to a steep climb from flat out level flight whilst rolling and doing goodness knows what - and the wings and flaps come to your aid - everytime ;D

Thanks for the comments as well fellas :)
