In real life, the flight took me out of Bankstown, over to Warragamba dam, to Camden, and back to Bankstown in 30 knot gusts.

A side note: while flying for real, I looked out the window, and thought "wow, doesn't FTX look good"
This thought came into my mind for two reasons:

a. I couldn't believe I was flying

b. FTX looks EXACTLY like what I saw up there...I can assure you, it is 100% authentic, and if you have not bought it already - please do so. You will definitely enjoy it.

My PC's current specs are: Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz, Nvidia 8800 GT, 2.5 Gb RAM. I get around 20 FPS in a city, with sliders, at a reasonable level. If anyone has any tips on getting the most out of this system, I welcome them.

I will get my KA-50 shots up soon, keep an eye out for those. Thanks for viewing. ;) :)

I must say An-225 those shots are really as realistic as can be and portray flying over Australia perfectly (well nothing is perfect but close)

Having flown a Aerobat over in Tyabb, i know how great it is and what a great privelage it is to be able to do this. P.S I flew near an old Naval Base and got to see a real Royal Australian Navy Submarine!!! :D

Great shots in all series. 8-)

However I highly doubt you would be conducting a right hand circuit for 29L, its always a left hand circuit. :P

Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

@todayshorse: The simulator was under heavy load, with graphics cranked up to middle/near max, and it loaded MIP1 and MIP2 instead of MIP0, spoiling the beautiful hi-res textures of FTX. But the occasional crisp ones do look quite real. ;)

@Mitch: It was 29R for real - I just went with a left hand circuit, and listened to ATCs instructions to land at 29L in the sim. ;)

@Layne: Thanks mate, we also have an Oberon class sub here in Sydney Harbour. ;)
