Took the default Mooney up for a couple of flights around FTX Blue's rendition of Tasmania, looking for those elusive freeware bush strips. I find the Mooney to be a very ugly plane, but gave it a go.
Scenery looks awesome on screen, a little underwhelming in pics, but whatever - here are some shots :)
Lake Pedder airfield in the middle of Tasmania. This guy's showing a little leg.... nice of him to wave me off though.
Ah... he's still waving. Can't have been at me, then. I feel so foolish now! :-[

Heading out into the Tasman wilderness...
Trying to land on this little strip with no flaps in a Mooney (they've stopped working for some reason) should be interesting. At least it's uphill and I have a parking brake :D.

Down on the strip, it's Mt. King William III. The landing had been a little rough and the plane needed refurbishment both inside and out, hence the new paint.
Flying along....
Approaching our destination, Waddamana strip.
Well, waddamana you know, here we are... uphill again :)
Thanks for looking :)
