MAIW Elmendorf Preview For Harold

Here's a [glow=yellow,2,300]preview[/glow] of another great military AI package in the works from MAIW.  This will complete the US Air Force military traffic at Elmendorf Air Force Base (PAED) in Alaska.  This package will add AI F-15s, AI F-22s, AI C-12s and AI C-17s.  In addition an earlier package adds the AI E-3s, completing the base with the exception of the Coast Guard C-130s which will be included in a Coast Guard fixed wing package in the future.  Units included in this package are:

90TH Fighter Squadron F-22, Callsigns: Ghost, Dice, Casino            

12th Fighter Squadron F-15 C/D, Callsigns: Eagle, Lance, Knife, Shogun

19th Fighter Squadron F-15 C/D, Callsigns: Grizzly, Voodoo, Eagle, Lance, Retro, Devil, Bader

517th Airlift Squadron C-17 & C-12, Callsigns: Bench, Totem

Super awesome package Mike! I love it I love it I love it! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you guys at MAIW are putting into not only Elmendorf but all of the airforce bases! I will definitely post some screenshots if the Elmendorf package!

   

I just can't wait to see the new Elmendorf Raptors in action (up to now there are only 6 or 8 stationed there, right?)

Correct, getting more Raptors each month.  I think this package will have 10 or so.

So very glad to hear of a Nellis package. I rarely fly in the US nowadays, but one of my favourite activities has always been making pretend "secret" missions around the Nevada Test Site area, with stops at TTR, Edwards, Nellis, and Groom Lake. I've got fantastic scenery for Groom, Edwards and TTR, but Nellis remains default and devoid of any activity, so this news makes me very giddy indeed.

Also overjoyed about the new Ruslan. I've been waiting for a good "just-for-AI" model of it for ages, and from the development screens I've seen at your forums, it's set to be a real stunner.

I feel I must extend my gratitude to MAIW for doing this work, and for making my (and others') simming experience so much better.

You are most welcome.  We're not quite sure how to handle the AN-124 since it seems as if the Russian government is trying to sell off their entire fleet.  So it may not be a true "military" ai package when it's ready. Also the author of that model may just release it publicly without putting it in a package which is fine with us.  :-?
