More wet paint

Postby jankees » Fri Aug 24, 2007 12:44 pm

Back from the holidays, which inspired me to paint yet more Mustangs. However, this time I throw in a repaint of a Mustang-sibling, Alphasim's wonderful Harvard/Texan.

First one is Bla Cesar of the 2nd squadron of the F16 wing in the '45-'49 paintscheme

This plane had an interesting history, first making an emergency landing in Sweden during the war, being interned and later bought by the Swedish Air Force, before disappearing in the Dominican Republic's Air Force..

This is an SNJ-5 that is based in KFWN Sussex, New Jersey.

and the last one is Gul Harald if the 3rd squadron, F16 Wing, in the '50-'53 paintscheme.

I hope you like 'em, they are available at A***M.

Nice Stang JK. I think I like the US versions better ... those swedes make very nice cars but they really suck at choosing a paintjob for their aircraft, which is probably why they don't have a national airline ;D

C'mon Harold, is it really that ugly?
You should see them in their natural habitat, in low light over snow covered forests, and then they look really nice.
But what about the Texan then. Finally I do something other than a Mustang, and then...nothing?
OK, it's no D18, maybe one day...

Uh oh ... I'm sorry mate! Completely forgot about it :-/

Yes that is a nice job .. and, although I don't really care for warbirds, but this one looks like it has a really nice skin, or at least the stripes on the tail are nice ;D
