...purchases that is.  CS130 that I bought a long time ago, just installed it on the laptop.  Runs nicely but the VC gauges are so jumpy that I still don't like it all that much.  Bought FE today, wanted better performance and it seems to have done the trick!  Looks mighty good too

What? Well clearly not or he would have said Ultimate terrain specifically.  :-?

There is more than one commercial mesh product out there. Look it up. Comments like this just irritate me.

UT (for Europe anyway) doesn't provide elevation data anyway. Just roads/landclass/coastlines. Not Mountains and valleys.

True ... if I had to choose I would go for GEP instead of any UT ...

I have GE, but without good mesh textures get repetitive, and I've already spent too much money this week so I'm just gonna get some freeware mesh and landclass.  I would download all the US from SimV, but I don't think I have enough disk space!!!
