Time to dust off the long johns...

Postby TSC. » Thu Jul 26, 2007 2:59 pm

..& get back in the Alaska groove again. Been a while since I've posted any shots, mainly because I fly almost exclusively in this little 182Q around the Ketchikan area - & most of those shots look the same.

Hi John,

The mesh comes with the payware Tongass Fjords package by Holger Sandmann.

The Stikine Icefield camps are a freeware package that is designed to be used with Tongass Fjords, although I'm not sure how well they would work on their own.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

Cheers,

TSC.

Good to hear John. The nearest 'base' to start out from is either Wrangell (PAWG) or Johnson-Petersburg (PAPG), all of the bases have NDB's ranging from 251.0 to 259.0 - depending on which camp (1 -> 9) you are heading to.

If you fancy making your flight an MP then just let me know, I'll be more than happy to tag along. Either way, post some shots, I'd love to see 'em.

Well, if by 'modifications done yet?' you mean 'has the large cargo of beer been removed from the barrels on board?', then Yes - they have.
