Lakenheath Air Base

Postby MIKE JG » Sat Jul 14, 2007 4:57 pm

So last week I gave you guys a glimpse of our Langley AFB package coming out complete with AI F-22s and AI F-15s.

This week another sneak peak.  This one of Lakenheath Air Base in the UK featuring the new AI F-15E model also by Nick Black.  In addition this package will contain custom designed scenery for Lakenheath AB.  Should be out in a couple of weeks from Military AI Works.

Here I tag along with some AI F-15E's using the IRIS F-15C.

Image

The takeoff and landing behaivor of the AI models is well modeled allowing for formation takeoffs and landings.  We're still working on the afterburner effect for the E model as it tends to be slightly more blue than the C model F-15.

Image

The E model also includes numerous loadout options for you to choose from should you wish to switch out what we include in our AI flightplans.

Image

In addition this model also includes some of our stock animations as well as some other goodies that Nick has used for the first time.

Finally in the overhead break back at Lakenheath you can see the detail of the scenery including custom textures and detailed afcading.

Impressive BNL2001. Must take a LOT of dedicated time to formulate something as good as that.  :o What scenery is that though? I have been looking for some good AFB scenery.

Well as much as I'd like to take credit for all this, I can't.

Can't wait for the Langley AFB. I've been looking for AI F-22's. 8-) Thanks for your hard work, too, with out you we would only have civil AI! (I'm a big military flyer myself so the civil stuff won't do) ;D Will the AI work in FSX?

Reportedly the AI do work in FSX although we have no way of supporting our files for FSX at this time.

The gents that have done Coningsby and are doing this Lakenheath package now have Mildenhall next on their list.
