Ok here goes PrtI

This should be interesting.

FSX

Why are they in payware because I am using:

Carenado 182Q
ASV6.5
FsGenesis FSX mesh
Aerosoft Alcatraz (freeware)
WoAI and PAI AI aircraft (freeware-replaced all stock AI)

These first sets will all be over cities since I am testing with high autogen.

Thanks for the replies

I only check framerates during one phase when I am doing a set-up for myself or my clients.

In my case with my own set-up I lock my frames to 25 and I hit my lock dependent on the view.

How frame rates are calculated in FSX is totally different than Fs9 and actually much closer to CFS3.

They both share the same file structure and load attributes.

Which is why I was testing and then posting screenshots of CFS3 in the freeware section before FSX came out.

By studying CFS3 and how it performed I could plan and calculate my (and my clients) set-ups of FSX.

I knew what to expect which tweaks would work, which wouldn't and the equipment changes I or someone else needed to make.

And I am sure that most people (other than my clients) will pay as little attention to this fact as they do to everything else I say or post.

and go on and on whining about FSX.

Oh and by the way I don't pause and adjust my settings when I do screenshots.

I assume you never do that.

Beautiful Ramsa, was curious what FSX could look like in your hands, expectations fulfilled

Great shots!!

What are you using to get the angles on your shots?  Is it just the view settings in FSX?

FSX has a "built in" program very similar to Active Camera or Walk and Follow.

I'm just starting to explore its capabilities.

It presents a lot of options and seems to work very well
