There's a lot of ways to get in for a shot like that.
Cspyro listed the cheapest way and easiest. To get my shot I used F1view, which is a freeware program that pretty much allows you to move in all directions in the VC with the mouse scroll.
Of course there's other payware options like walk & follow, and Active Camera.
