Apparently I'm invisible...

Postby ozzy72 » Sat Jun 24, 2006 5:30 pm

Which is odd 'cos I could see myself fine in Nick Pikes great F-117A! And you'll never believe who did the cockpit and lots of technical advice on this... our very own Romulus!

Nick did all the cockpit BMP's and the model was designed with a friend here in the states I believe.

All I did was offer technical assistance on the various systems and how they function. Nick designed all the gauges and I believe 90% of all the gauges, warning light, switches and buttons, etc are fully functional.

It is one of the best F-117A's I've seen and flies like a dream. Nick did a superb job on it.  :o

What's happening Ozwaldo, tired of your small vroom vrooms (that would the the spits)
:P

Whats your take on the aircraft? If it passes your tests...hell it will pass anything  ;D

What's it topspeed? (I know absolutely nothing about military planes so excuse my ignorance :) )

It is payware, for under 20 bucks you can't go wrong http://www.fs2x.com/F-117%20NighthawkV2 ... 20Page.htm and it is MUCH better than the Alphasim model ;)

Reminds me of the time some years ago when the Americans flew one of their stealth a/c to the Farnborough Air Show in UK  hoping to evade the UK radar. Unfortunately it showed up on the infrared and was subsequently escorted to it's destination!!!!!!!!! Poverini!!!
