South America Tour, Hop #6

Postby JBaymore » Sat May 06, 2006 10:12 pm

Live... from SimV ........it's Saturday night........

Jared's South American tour continues as Jared, Nemo, and I head off from where we spent the last week (MMSP) and headed off to Mexico City for some great Mexican food.

It was a beautiful evening for flying as we left.

In the end, we all made safe landings

The only time I've ever heard any pilot say they've made "a safe landing" is when they slammed it on to the runway and bounced all the way to the ramp! ;D :P

Looks like fun ;)

Beefhole,

Let us say that all of us were wondering how well we would do on the landing.   ;)

I put it down well past the numbers and to the left of canter.... but not too bad.  Was staying a bit high in case of downdrafts/ shear.  The last few feet of altitude were interesting.....and the airport is at about 7000.

best,

My God that's the longest post I've ever seen from JBaymore  :o :o Usually too busy flying I guess... nice set, looks like a great leisurely and friendly flight with a bit of drama thrown it...

Actually, too busy in my studio making pots and running the soldering iron and jigsaw on the simpit.   ;)  I wish I was getting flying more.  RL keeps getting in the way.  ;D

Yes...... these "tour" flights are usually nice sessions.

best,
