you can't get that quality, first of all cuz you cant get fsgs with that kind of system and sencond: there is only one system is the world who can deliver that kind of quality, Dave's one ;) ;D

To be honest, FPS is something that we do not even really pay attention to once the machine is set up properly.
You can have a not so great system but get great frame rates if the machine itself is set up correctly.

Do you honestly think that if you can get frame rates of 50, 60 etc... means your system is running the best it can?

There is a mathematical process that determines your target frame rate. Once you have gone through the process, you come up with a target number.

Sure, my machine is high end, but my target frame rate is around 39 - 40. I do not need frame rates of 50, 60, etc.. because my machine does not need nor want to run at that. When people say , "I am getting 60fps, it means absolutely nothing!! In fact, by having them higher, (and believe me, I could set them higher), my machine would actually perform worse! I could go on & on about how to obtain your target frame rate, but there are many variables that go into it. It is all part of what we (FS-GS) calls "system unification".

Well I know for a fact that we have the same cards...so I am not too fussed ;)

Although quite frankly, my shots can never compare to those of yours Dave ;)

Not true...many people here have the same quality as Dave's...and it's not true that you need a super computer to attain good shots...a couple of member's here have system's that aren't at par with other people's such as Dave's, but their shots are still pretty darn nice...What's said about the posts...quality not quantity I think personally applies to screenshots as well...you could have a crappy computer but you could take a screenshot that could easily outrank any high end computer owners...
Cheers,
Ashar

Dave,

Great shots mate, although for some reason I really like the first one. Just the colouring i guess.

FS-GS is a great service to have done. Although I have a mid-high end system, I have NEVER got the type of visuals and performance I am now getting, and have been getting for some time now.

Did you get my PM bu the way?

Cheers,

Steve

Gah, I don't want to hear about how my system could be set up to perform.  I want to KNOW.

I'm not that fond of paying for that information.

That is fine, but remember this is a payware screenshot forum and paying for stuff is perfectly accepted here. It is what we like to do.  ;)

And another thing.....
I was reluctant too. I contacted Michael back in 2002. I had virtually no knowledge of the PC and how it worked. The money that I paid Michael years ago was probably the best investment I ever made. Through my many interactions with Michael I have gained full knowledge of the internal workings of the sim, full knowledge of the PC and many of the secrets that make these machines run. I have learned things that you can not put a price on. I know why things work the way they do, how to fine tune my machine and most important, a friend! It was the best payware I have ever purchased.

Steve, I got your PM, will do!

I am dying to get an FS-GS treatment...but I am afraid my dad won't be too reluctant to pay...and I only have 20 Euro to offer him...he won't be too pleased...LOL ;D

Ashar,

Just keep doing what you are doing, your shots are real nice, I always take a look  ;)

Also, thanks to all that discussed this In a "mature" tone....

It is nice to be able to "discuss" some of the things regarding what FS-GS is all about without people getting all "defensive".....
