I love low wing GA aircraft. Pipers especially, so it was in due time that I would go ahead and buy this payware.

Nice thing about Australian Simulations Piper is you get several different set-ups of the Warrior.

SaVas, I am so close to the edge on buying this one.  There is some hear-say that the VC is not very good.  What is your opinion on it.  The screen shots on the website look alright.  However, it is so hard to tell after all the compression the files go through.  

It looks great on the outside.

Let me also add too Codered, that for the price and variety you get from Aussim's Piper, its a good price considering ones such as Dreamfleet's Warrior, and Carenado, you only get one aircraft.

I do not have the Carenado Piper Dakota, but based on the Dreamfleet Piper, which has similar interior texturizing, for $25, if you want a low wing Piper, the Aussim is a good deal.

Excellente! Thank you SaVas for the in depth description of the Warrior.  I have the Dreamfleet Piper Archer and the Carenado Dakota, and perhaps soon I will have the Aussim Warrior.  I can see that for $25, it is a deal with all the liveries and such.  

If I get it, perhaps I can post my thoughts about it.

OK, even though there are some little nuances I had issues with, I must say that I would still recommend this aircraft for purchase.

SaVas, after reading your post and visiting the Aussim forum, I realized I couldn't live without the Warrior.  Afterall, I did my flight training in a Piper Warrior II, why not own one.

My first impression of this aircraft is very good.  You are right about the improvements.  But for what it already is, this one is a winner.  I too would improve the VC textures, however the gauges are awesome.  The sound is a bit lacking, but overall, not bad.  The exterior models are exactly how I remember the Warrior from my walk arounds.  All the clickable spots on the VC are pretty cool to.  Anyway here are my shots from my first flight.

I have been really enjoying this aircraft. First impressions were not spectacular, but its grown on me and it to me is the best Piper class aircraft avail.

And now I understand the lack of rendering on the seats from the rear, for those with lower end machines, but then again he did say something about making a patch for high end users

If anything, the customer support makes this plane worth the investment
